Our Wedding Weekend!

Wedding #2
What a beautiful bride! On Saturday, we went to another wedding. Kristin is Megan's oldest sister (Hailey's best friend). They are also our neighbors and such a great family! The wedding was gorgeous and we had a blast at the reception. Hailey danced all night long. The DJ even announced "we have quite a dancer out here!" talking about Hailey. She was busting out with all the old school moves...it was hilarious! We all had a good time. Hayden flirted with Megan's other older sister, Laura, all night...even cutting in on her dancing with "another man"!:) After the reception, we all went over to our Mark & Tammy's for an after wedding party. Thanks so much for including us guys, we enjoyed it and meeting your families!!!

Isn't she gorgeous!!

Tammy being walked down the isle with her handsome boys, Brandon & Blake.
Everytime Blake ushered somebody down the isle, Hayden would wave and say, "HI Blake" not so quietly :) It was pretty funny.

Wedding #1

On Friday night, we traveled with Mimi & PopPop to Hot Springs to go to my cousin, Shannon's wedding (her new husband's name is also Shannon:) ) We first stopped to eat at Stubby's BBQ...yum! Then we headed off to the wedding which was at Garvan Garden Chapel. It was absolutely beautiful. Of course I forgot my camera :( but thankfully Aunt Kay let me borrow theirs. These are just a few pictures I took with my camera phone. When I get some of the pictures off her camera, I will post those, too. Congratulations Shannon & Shannon! The wedding was beautiful and we were so glad to be able to see everyone!

Wild River Country Daze

Most of you know we have Wild River Country passes this year. We were trying to go about once a week but then we got busy going out of town, VBS, and stuff like that so we haven't been in awhile. We actually ended up going both Monday and Tuesday! On Monday, we took Megan and stayed from 11:15 until 4:00. They had a good time and saw lots of friends there. It was nice because it was not very crowded and the water is still pretty cool, unlike our pool where it is like bathwater, YUCK! We decided we would go back on Tuesday and went with Aunt Kristen, Hannah, Jeremy, and Madison. We stayed from 11:15 until almost 4:00 again. The kids enjoyed playing together and then they got to have sleepovers. We traded Hailey for Jeremy. The boys and I went to eat pizza with Mimi and PopPop. Brian has been out of town since Sunday night and will be home this afternoon (Wed)! Yeah!! They played all night buildning houses with blocks and playing with cars and stuff. We are trying to enjoy our last couple of weeks before we ALL have to start back to school. We all start back the 18th so our summer is nearly over :(

Photo Contest

OK, so my good friend, Heather, called me last week to tell me that Bedford's is having their annual Kutest Kidz Photo Contest (it is really not about the cutest kid but photography they say...I KNOW my kids the cutest, haha!). Heather is an awesome photographer! She wanted me to enter one of my beach pics. So, I entered a few and Hayden's was chosen as a finalist! Click on the link below to check it out! We didn't win, but it was exciting watching it on TV and being a finalist out of 3000 entries! Thanks Heather!

Build-a-Bear Workshop

Hayden with the hearts to go into the bears.
Hayden and "Berry" the Panda Bear.
The lady stuffing "Megan" the dog, sorry Meg, I guess he just loves you so much!!!
Hayden was so sweet to let Hailey help at the "washing" station. She is grooming Berry and he is grooming Megan.
Hailey got to go here the night we went to the Jville Reunion. So she picked out her animal then. She now has three of them.

Today I took the kids down to LR to go eat lunch with my mom and then to Build-a-Bear Workshop. Uncle Sean brought Hayden a gift card when he was down for his birthday (thanks Uncle Sean!) and they both had some money from Poppy, too (thanks Poppy)! Hayden was in heaven! He got two animals, a dog and a panda bear; a dog bed, and a camo tent. Hailey got a dog carrier on rollers. They were so excited! These are a few pictures from our trip.

Dallas Trip & Sophie's Shower

Me, my mom, my Aunt Kay, and Kristen (my sister-in-law) all left Thursday evening for Dallas. We were so excited to get to go on a girl trip together. My cousin, Sophie, was having a baby shower and she lives in Plano. So, common sense would tell ya you need to go down a bit early to get some shopping in, right? Well we got to our room about 11:30 that night...and let me just say that our room was amazing! Thanks, Jim and Sophie! It was really, really nice. We got checked in and to bed around 12:00. Well, we slept too long to take advantage of the complimentary full breakfast buffet so we went to IHOP for breakfast/lunch. Then headed to Sam Moon. I picked out a purse and ring. We went to the mall next. The mall there does not even compare to ours. We mostly ate and shopped our entire weekend. We all stayed up late talking and that was fun, too! I had a great time, hope everyone else did too! Sophie had a really nice shower and got some wonderful gifts to start them off with little baby Samantha. We can't wait to see her and hold her! Sophie looked great, of course! You go girl in your size 2 regular clothes! Sickening!!! :) We got home Sunday around 4:30. It was a nice weekend...maybe we can do it again sometime!

Vacation Bible School

The week of the 21st through the 25th was Vacation Bible School at our church. I was one of Hailey's teachers and the theme was Outrigger Island. It was a tropical theme, obviously. It was alot of fun decorating. I put some pictures of our room. It was a great week. I always enjoy VBS and so do the kids. Their program was Friday night and I was in Dallas, so I don't have any pics from the program because I had Brian video it for me instead. I had the camera with me!

The sandcastle I made and the palm trees Tanya and I made. We had blue cellophane on the walls with sea creatures behind it. We used burlap for the sandy beach.
To the right is our beach chairs and umbrella.
Our Surf Shop
The posters with the daily bible verses to learn.
Hayden and Ella singing in their classUsing sparkly twirlers during songs.
Hailey doing the motions to one of her songs.
More singing.

On Thursday, our church always rents big blow ups for the recreation part of the day. They had this big slide and a bounce house.
