This is Emily, Natalie's older sister that Hayden is just smitten with!
The team after their performance.
Hailey doing the pretzel. This has been a very busy week so far. Hailey had jump rope practice on Monday. Then on Tuesday, she had tumbling and then we went straight to Chick-fil-A for her school spirit night where her jump rope team was performing. They have quite a few new members this year. They did a short routine, but did good. We then stayed for dinner which was CRAZY because it seemed half of her school was there! But they had fun!
Then it was home to watch the election results, which we are all very disappointed. We all need to be praying for our country and for the man who was elected to lead us....very scary. I do have to tell something kind of funny, though. We have been talking quite a bit lately about the election with Hailey. She has asked who we are voting for and why. She has also told us their discussions at school about the candidates. She knew we were for McCain and our reasons why. The morning of the election, we were getting ready in my bathroom for school/work. She said, "Momma, what if Obama wins?" I said, "Hailey, we just need to pray about it." So she said, "Let's pray now". So all four of us stand in the bathroom holding hands and begin to pray. Brian and I go first and then Hailey. Brian and I both mention God's will for our country. When it is Hailey's turn, she says, "And let McCain win!" Haha! Too funny! She's just going to cut to the chase and lay it all out there! Then, on the ride to school, Hayden asks who's going to win from my class?" Pretty funny!
